I feel sorry for Ergen’s dad.
First he lost his wife to the Warch and now he’s lost his son.
Even if “Ergen” comes back, it wont be the Ergen that left.

I feel trepidation for the future of Ukraine.
Once the fighting stops it will still take decades for the even just the physical scars on the land to be erased.
Given the nature of the fighting, largely static trench warfare, the sense of the futility of it all and the troops anger at the enemy and their own command and generally anyone not in the trenches with them would be growing.
The guys who climb out of the trenches when all is said and done will have a hard time re-acclimating to civvie life, both Ukrainska and Russkiya.
Both Ukraine and Russia will need a lot of help for many years, but then that goes for any warzone at any point in history.
War corrupts anything that is good in humanity.
