Fake by what measure?
You’d think someone working closely with artificial intelligence would be well aware that it’s hardly appropriate to call an intelligence fake just because it runs on chips rather than wetware.
True, I think that’s just Mark (the guy who’s making her, we’ll meet him later) getting carried away, trying to be ‘dramatic’. He’s seen a lot of pain and failures in his androids, sometimes he wonders if what he’s doing isn’t wrong somehow after all.
