I’ve always preferred heroes who can think on their feet and eventually outsmart the villain(s). The greater the villain, the better the victory. Lisa is a delightful protagonist and a very positive example of what AI could be in the future, so I hope people who are working on it take a cue from you, and other authors, to work to make it a reality. 🙂
Also, Lisa, I definitely agree with you that ultimately your life in exchange for countless others is a small price to pay, but I really hope you make it through this adventure. We don’t need another fallen hero to remind us what’s at stake. 🙁
Another reason that the hand doesn’t matter any more is that Lisa can just grow another one. Same as she did with the eye she had to pull out.
